Hi, my name is Jess and I am happy you are here!
I am an artist guided by curiosity, observation, and a desire to live more intentionally within the natural world. My work is shaped by time spent outdoors, independent study of ecology, psychology, and sociology, and an ongoing questioning of the values prioritized within western society. Through art, I explore themes of interconnectedness, belonging, co-existence, and our relationship to nature, not as something separate from ourselves, but as something we are deeply part of.
I create from a place of stillness and wonder, paying close attention to the subtle relationships, rhythms, and changes happening around us every day. My hope is that this work encourages viewers to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the environments and living beings we share our lives with.
Like the ecosystems that inspire me, my practice is continually evolving. Each season of creating reveals new questions, perspectives, and ways of understanding both myself and the world around me. I see my work not as a finished statement, but as part of an ongoing process of growth, observation, and transformation, one that is always rooting deeper, reaching outward, and unfolding over time.
This space is an extension of that process: a collection of artwork, reflection, and curiosity rooted in care for the natural world and the possibility of creating more meaningful ways of living and relating to one another.
