The Art and The Thoughts That Inspired them
Abstract Pile of Stones
Do you ever feel like you have multiple pieces of yourself - pieces waiting to be discovered, Pieces waiting to be encouraged, Pieces waiting to be nurtured and given permission to exist, maybe some pieces you wish to let go? Pieces that you know deep in your heart are all related, related to the bigger picture of what is to be your life. As you try to make sense of each piece of yourself, you will find the gaps that lay between, the ones that already fit and the ones that don’t yet have a place to stay. Some pieces you may come to find you need to let go of and some may need to be put to the side momentarily as you continue to arrange them all in different ways - hoping that when you have them aligned just right, you will know so in your heart. Sometimes all the pieces will fall apart and you will be forced to start again, and sometimes you may be starting with almost nothing. These abstract stones are pieces of me, pieces of you. The pieces that for years, maybe even life times, we have been trying to get perfectly aligned, perfectly understood and perfectly placed. As current time and experience allows I myself am but an abstract pile of stones - unsure of what it is, to be made of all these pieces I have come myself to find. Will we know when we have arranged the pieces of our lives in the authentic way we strive for? Will our hearts know when the gaps have been filled and when the foundation is set and ready for us to climb? Or is it the time spent discovering and arranging these pieces, that is in itself the point, that is in itself the masterpiece?

Pinecone Sophia
She holds them close to her heart, the seeds she was tasked to carry, waiting for the elements to align. When the timing is right she will share them, let them free to find their own. Until then she holds them softly, imagining to what heights one day they will grow.

The Heart Of It
There is something especially healing in a walk in the woods. Bare feet we wonder down the beaten path, each step feeling a little lighter than the last. Minds empty of the thoughts from the day we had yet flood with new inspirations of what is still yet to come, reminded in every step that the trees we walk beneath were once but small seeds themselves. Here in the woods we find ourselves connected, here in the woods we find the heart of it.

Beautiful Adaptation
In the forest stands a tree whose appearance is different to those around it. As it bulges in ways that may have never been seen before, it stands proudly, knowing the stressful times that created this part of itself, is of value now. It has provided a unique and beautiful feature that stops people in their tracks. It cannot be found everywhere, it can not be duplicated and it is, and always will be the only one just like it.

Sometimes you just need to spend a Sunday afternoon day dreaming about a bookstore cafe for you and your sister. One filled with furniture that was collected from side of the road, books held safely by hard wood shelves, silly little collectables, the sweet sweet smell of coffee filling the air and a floor that creeks with each step.
